Capti Ethernet is a high-speed broadband service that utilizes fibre optic, coax and other network equipment installed in the building of multi-dwelling buildings. It enables communication between the customer's premises and the wholesaler's equipment using existing fibre cabling within the building.
The service is prepaid, and bills are not issued. A monthly invoice will be generated for your records, accessible through Your Account online at www.capti.com/account. By acquiring and using the service, you agree to the automatic direct debit of your monthly service from your nominated credit card.
Ethernet Bundle plans are provided on a no lock-in contract basis. Customers can terminate the service by providing 30 days' notice. Please refer to the Minimum Total Cost applicable in the Information about Pricing section.

Typical evening download speed is measured between 7pm and 11pm. Typical evening upload speed is estimated by reference to the maximum upload speed for the plan. Actual throughput speeds may be slower and could vary due to various factors including interference, customer cabling and equipment, download source, and quality and distance of in-building copper.
The standard Monthly Charge and Setup pricing stated in the Information about Pricing section are based on new customers agreeing to waive the Customer Service Guarantee (CSG).
To connect your devices to Capti Ethernet Broadband service, you need an Ethernet compatible modem. A compatible 4 Port Wi-Fi Modem Router is available for purchase from Capti.
In some cases, Capti may also provide a Network Termination Unit (NTU) depending on your building.
Capti’s responsibility and demarcation point is the LAN port installed by Capti. Capti is not responsible for any cabling beyond that point.
If you already have a Capti NTU in your apartment you simply need to connect your Modem Router to the Ethernet port once your service has been activated.
If your address doesn't already have a Capti NTU installed, a technician will visit your home on the scheduled installation date. They will bring the necessary NTU equipment with them, eliminating the need for any postal delivery. During the installation, the technician will carefully install the NTU and conduct testing to ensure that the service is functioning correctly. It is their responsibility to ensure that all Capti-supplied equipment is connected accurately before activating the service.
After the Ethernet service is activated, if you currently have any other services such as phone or internet at your premises, you need to contact your current provider to cancel those services. This step ensures that you won't receive any additional bills. We recommend checking with your current phone and/or internet service provider about any contractual commitments and termination/disconnection fees associated with your current services. Capti is not responsible for these charges. If you are porting your existing phone number to Capti, please refrain from canceling your phone service until the number has been successfully ported.
