Currently, Capti does not allow customers to opt out of CG-NAT unless they choose to purchase a static IP address. Unlike CG-NAT, a static IP address provides a dedicated, unique public IP address that is not shared with other customers. Here’s what this means:
- No Opt-Out Without a Static IP: If you prefer not to use CG-NAT, the only way to bypass it is to upgrade to a static IP address plan. This plan ensures that your devices are accessible directly over the internet, making it ideal for customers who need to:
- Host servers or services (e.g., web servers, gaming servers, remote access services).
- Access certain applications that require a consistent public IP address.
- Avoid port limitations that may arise due to CG-NAT.
